What to bring

Please pack for ALL types of weather.

Weather conditions in this area can be extremely variable; we strongly suggest you bring layered clothing.

The ride can get a little bumpy if we encounter waves or the wakes from large boats; we therefore suggest you wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes.

Aboard our open boats you may get wet from the spray off the water. We can provide dry storage for you camera, lunch and backpacks. Your anti-exposure suit should keep you and your clothes relatively dry. However, shoes and glasses can get wet.

We also suggest you pack:

  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • A camera with a fully charged battery and lots of memory
  • A light snack or lunch, which can be purchased at the Granville Island Public Market
  • A reusable water bottle, you can fill up with cold water in our office before boarding, don’t worry if you don’t have one, we provide complimentary bottled water.
  • Gloves and a warm hat for cooler days (toques are available for purchase in our office)
  • Your sense of ADVENTURE!
